Headbutt (W) plus Pulverize (Q) displaces the ADC out of Devour (R) save range. Trample (E) channel beats the Tongue Lash (Q) 3-stack stun windup before he ramps the An Acquired Taste passive damage.

Gangplank places Powder Keg E up to 1000 units away and detonates it with Parrrley Q from 625 units behind it, so the AOE chip lands on Tahm without Gangplank ever entering the 900 units of Tongue Lash or the Abyssal Dive landing zone.

Jayce's Shock Blast (Q) in Cannon form reaches 1050 units, more than Tongue Lash's 900, and extends to 1600 with 40% more damage through the Acceleration Gate (E). Hammer form (R) then answers Abyssal Dive (W) with Thundering Blow, knocking Tahm back on landing.

Kennen's Lightning Rush E phases him through Tahm to apply Mark of the Storm from inside the wave, and Electrical Surge W adds another mark every few attacks plus one on activation, so the third mark stuns Tahm in melee while Kennen Rush-exits.

Tahm Kench's An Acquired Taste (P) HP scaling is melted by Bio-Arcane Barrage (W) percent-HP damage. His only ranged threat is Tongue Lash (Q), a 900-unit skillshot you sidestep. Devour (R) ally save is countered by Living Artillery (R) cross-map chip.

Leona's Zenith Blade E covers 875 units and drags her onto Tahm the moment he steps up, the attached immobilise holds him in place, and Shield of Daybreak Q chains a second stun through Bone Plating.

Lulu's Whimsy W polymorph turns Tahm into a critter mid Tongue Lash windup, cancelling the cast and the stack chain. Wild Growth R knocks up the ally he dove onto and buffs its health, and Help, Pix! E shields the ADC through his follow-up damage.

Milio's Breath of Life R cleanses the slow from Tongue Lash and hands the whole bot lane tenacity right as the 3-stack stun lands, breaking Tahm's only kill setup in lane. Cozy Campfire W heal-zone uptime then out-sustains his sustained trade pressure across the next two waves.

Morgana's Dark Binding Q roots from 1250 units, further than Abyssal Dive reaches at any rank, so it lands before Tahm can dive in — and he has no dash to sidestep the slow projectile.

Nautilus's Dredge Line Q hook pulls Tahm from 1150 units, further than Abyssal Dive reaches before rank 4, and drags him into Riptide E AOE slow. Depth Charge R chains a knock-up stun on landing.

Blooming Burst (Q) pokes safely beyond Tongue Lash (Q) range and Tangle-Barbs (E) roots before Tahm Kench connects his Q tongue stun. Pop Blossom (R) AOE punishes An Acquired Taste (P) stack windows at melee range and Abyssal Dive (W) telegraphs the dive engage clearly.

Tahm Kench has no ranged smite tool — Consume's true damage on Drake and Baron steals every neutral he tries to contest with basic Smite. Devour can save one ally from Absolute Zero, but the damage is already ticking on everyone else by the time he spits that ally back out.

Quinn's Vault E dashes off Tahm onto Harrier passive marks, Behind Enemy Lines R lets her side-lane while he is locked in farm, and Blinding Assault Q removes his passive auto-attack chain.

Tongue Lash (Q) is a slow skill-shot and Abyssal Dive (W) takes 1.5s to land — neither is a real escape from Shadow Dash (E) range. Once Shen taunts him he commits to a fight he cannot Devour (R) out of without burning R on himself, and Twilight Assault (Q) chunks his max HP.

Vayne's Tumble Q dashes her outside Tongue Lash range on every auto, and Silver Bolts W applies true damage every third hit that scales with Tahm's max HP — exactly the stat he stacks.
