Annie pre-stacks Pyromania during waveclear. The moment Katarina commits to a Shunpo (E) dagger pickup, Flash plus Summon: Tibbers (R) stun interrupts the Death Lotus (R) channel before the damage lands.
- Dianajungle
Diana's Q-R combo lands before Katarina can even drop her W Dagger. She loses the trade race at level 6 and falls behind on item spikes. Zhonya's Hourglass as third item is mandatory.
- Fizzmid
Playful/Trickster (E) drops Fizz untargetable for 0.75s: he uses it the frame Katarina starts channeling Death Lotus (R), cancelling it for free. Chum the Waters (R) locks her before Voracity can reset.
- Garentop
Decisive Strike (Q) silence cancels Shunpo (E) reset chain mid-cast, and Courage (W) active eats the Death Lotus (R) channel burst entirely. Demacian Justice (R) executes once she overextends the dive without a Bouncing Blade (Q) mark to bounce off.

Broken Wings (Q3) knock-up cancels Death Lotus (R) mid-channel, Valor (E) shields the W-E-Q burst, and the three Q dashes plus Ki Burst (W) stun out-trade Katarina's pre-item all-in before she can pick a Dagger.

Death Lotus (R) is a stationary channel that needs Katarina alive in the middle of the team. Arctic Assault (Q) knocks her up and breaks the channel, and Glacial Prison (R) on the first target plus the AOE slow shuts down Bouncing Blade (Q) reset chains and Shunpo (E) hops.

Arcanopulse (Q) has 1450 range vs Katarina's 625 Q range. He pokes her down for free in the first 5 levels; she reaches level 6 at 40% HP with no Voracity reset and dies to a single skillshot rotation.

Mystic Shot (Q) has a 0.25s predictable windup: every Q gives you a W-E-Q burst window. No hard CC to interrupt Death Lotus (R); engage after his Arcane Shift (E) and he dies before he gets safe.

Karthus needs uninterrupted farm windows. Katarina's reset pressure forces him to burn Flash and trade away the late-game scaling that is his only win condition.
- Luxmid
Lux lives off Light Binding (Q) for setup. Dodge it with Shunpo (E) and she is disarmed for 8-13s. Pre-6 sit behind minions; post-6 blink-Q to a Dagger past the wave and delete her with W-E-Q-AA.
- Twisted Fatemid
TF pushes waves to roam, but outside of Gold Card stun he has no instant damage. Track his R with river wards; when he ults to a side lane, blink-Q onto a wave Dagger and delete him before he recalls.

Shunpo (E) chains dagger pickups outside the Event Horizon (E) perimeter, skipping the stun trigger and resetting cooldowns on every takedown via Voracity passive. Bouncing Blade (Q) pokes Veigar from outside Baleful Strike (Q) range and Death Lotus (R) channels in safety.
- Vel'Kozmid
Katarina Shunpo (E) blink plus Death Lotus (R) channel out-trades Vel'Koz Life Form Disintegration Ray (R) channel because Voracity passive resets cooldowns on takedown. Bouncing Blade (Q) and Preparation (W) chain dagger pickups while Vel'Koz has no peel dash.
